Tarah Sullivan Suiter
Tarah Sullivan Suiter is a senior engineer at Oceanit and primarily works on Department of Defense supported biomimetic projects. She received her doctorate in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from the University of California, San Diego in 2017, advised by Professor Marc Meyers. Her research focused on understanding the lightweight resilience and micro-mechanics of the avian feather, and creating bioinspired designs. Tarah led Oceanit’s clinical and regulatory efforts in developing the ASSURE-100 Rapid COVID-19 Test, which received FDA EUA in February, 2022. Prior to joining Oceanit, Suiter was a senior systems performance engineer at ASML (Advanced Semiconductor Materials Lithography).
