Jared Gardner is a Professor in the English Department at the Ohio State University, where he also directs the Popular Culture Studies program. He is the author or editor of several books, including Projections: Comics and the History of 21st-century Storytelling (Stanford UP, 2012). He is a frequent collaborator with the Billy Ireland Cartoon Library & Museum, where he has curated several exhibits, including Drawing Blood: Comics and Medicine (2019).
