I've published seven books on Amazon, using the noms de plume Alain Gunn or A K Gunn, depending upon genre. Four of the Alain Gunn books (Tale of Two Planets, Red Exodus, If Pigs Could Cry, Fire at the Bottom of the Sea) are technothrillers similar to the books Michael Crichton used to write and one (The Titanium Rib) is non-fiction. The A K Gunn books are more mainstream or mysteries. I have experience writing newspaper articles, short stories, magazine articles. In addition, as an academic surgeon, I've published over 50 research articles and many book chapters under my own name. I am also a retired Army Colonel and have worked in over 40 countries in all the inhabited continents.
